Newsletter     Mar  2001      Academic Taekwondo

Dear Parents and Students,

I would like to begin this newsletter by congratulating all of our participating students for their fine performances at the Feb. 24, 2001 promotion test.   Our school’s graduates Black Belts Isrel Kapnick, 3rd Dan, and Zach Trider, 1st Dan served on the seven-member Examinors Panel, which also included Instructor Reijo Palo and Professor Bill Anderson from the Natural Art Taekwondo, and Drs. Jean Williard and Donald Link from Harmony Taekwondo.

Our Junior Black Belts, Joseph Greene and Erin Link, and Probationary Black Belts Cameron Birkestrand, Franky Suriano, Tatsuaki Hayashi, Hidemi Hayashi, and Sunray Martina did a great job on the floor in assisting with the line-ups, board and target holding and wrapping the new belts around the waists of the geup (color belt degree) holders during the promotion/ graduation.

My warmest Thank You to all participants and parents for your support and co-operation.
