Academic Taekwondo

Dear Parents and students,

We have successfully reached the half point of the school year 1999-2000 training. All students, in general, are right on the schedule in learning and refining their techniques and other requirements.  I am especially proud of all the White Belt students' achievements at the Weiss School.

The beginner level students have been introduced to some sliding, jumping, and turning kicks, as they continue to learn and refine the three basic Kicho forms.  Kindergarten, and other White Belts (without stripes) are working on the stances, turns and basic hand movements on their form.

All Color Belts continue to study their respective Taegeuk forms, hand and kicking combinations, and other belt level requirements, including Taekwondo terminology.

I would like to take this opportunity to give a heart felt thank you to all students, parents and the Weiss School faculty for surprising me with cake, candles, flowers and presents on the anniversary of my 29th birthday on Monday, January 24, 2000.

After-School Taekwondo

All third session After-School Taekwondo classes are full. Enrollments for the fourth session (April 3 - May 26) are being accepted now.
